Extra Details:: LIGHT (HVEML; CD258) is a cytokine that binds to TNFRSF3/LTBR. It activates NF-kappaB, stimulates the proliferation of T cells, and inhibits growth of the adenocarcinoma HT-29. Acts as a receptor for Herpes simplex virus. Recombinant protein corresponding to aa74-240 from human LIGHT, fused to His-Tag at N-terminal, expressed in HEK293 cells. Molecular Weight: ~21kD Applications: Suitable for the use in study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors, and selectivity profiling. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
