Extra Details:: TP53AIP1 (tumor protein p53 regulated apoptosis inducing protein 1) is specifically expressed in the thymus, and encodes a protein that is localized to the mitochondrion. The expression of TP53AIP1 is inducible by p53, and it is thought to play an important role in mediating p53-dependent apoptosis. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described for TP53AIP1. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, Immunofluorescence, ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 1:100-1:300 Immunofluorescence: 1:200-1:1000 ELISA: 1:5000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
