Extra Details:: Serine (or cysteine) proteinase inhibitor clade B (ovalbumin) member 5, also known as Maspin, is a tumor suppressor protein of serine proteinase inhibitor family. It plays an essential role in embryonic development through critical roles in cell adhesion. Also, it is present in normal breast and prostatic epithelial cells but down regulated in the respective carcinomas. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, ELISA, Western Blot and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
