- Extra Details:
- The Ras protein is a subfamily of small GTPases that are involved in signal transduction. They are activated by ligand-binding receptor tyrosine kinases such as EGFR, PDGFR, CSF and FGF. These kinases transiently convert RAS-GDP (inactive form) to RAS-GTP, the active form of RAS. The main genes are HRAS, NRAS and KRAS. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
