- Extra Details:
- Myosin, light chain 2 (MYL2) encodes the regulatory light chain associated with cardiac myosin beta heavy chain. It is an important protein involved in the regulation of myosin ATPase activity in smooth muscle and Ca+ triggers the phosphorylation of regulatory light chain that in turn triggers contraction. Mutations in MYL2 are associated with mid-left ventricular chamber type hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
