Extra Details:: ISG15, a 15kD protein encoded by an interferon stimulated gene, and its modification system play important roles in the innate immune response, regulation of interferon signaling, pregnancy, and several cancers. ISG15 is an ubiquitin-like protein containing two ubiquitin homology domains and becomes conjugated to a variety of proteins when cells are treated with type I interferon or lipopolysaccharide. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, ELISA, Western Blot and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
