Extra Details:: COTL1 (coactosin-like 1), also known as CLP, is a 142aa cytoplasmic and cytoskeletal proteinthat belongs to the actin-binding proteins ADF family and coactosin subfamily. COTL1 is first identified in slime mold and is found at highest levels in kidney, placenta, lung and peripheral blood leukocytes. COTL1 is one of many proteins that participate in regulation of Actin's cytoskeleton through a calcium dependent mechanism, but has not been shown to have a direct effect on Actin depolymerization. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and FACS. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
