Extra Details:: Protein transport. Involved in the redistribution of lysosomes to the peri-Golgi region (By similarity). Plays a role in the maturation of phagosomes that engulf pathogens, such as S.aureus and M.tuberculosis (PubMed:21255211). Plays a role in the fusion of phagosomes with lysosomes (PubMed:21255211). Acts also as a positive regulator of hedgehog signaling and regulates ciliary function (By similarity). Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry and ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:1000 Immunohistochemistry: 1:200 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
