Extra Details:: Regulates the traffic and/or budding of caveolae (PubMed:19262564). Plays a role in caveola formation in a tissue-specific manner. Required for the formation of caveolae in smooth muscle but not in the lung and heart endothelial cells. Regulates the equilibrium between cell surface-associated and cell surface-dissociated caveolae by promoting the rapid release of caveolae from the cell surface. Plays a role in the regulation of the circadian clock. Modulates the period length and phase of circadian gene expression and also regulates expression and interaction of the core clock components PER1/2 and CRY1/2 (By similarity). Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry, Immunofluorescence/Immunocytochemistry and ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:500-1:2000, incubate membrane with diluted antibody in TBS, 5% milk, 0.1% Tween20 at 4°C with gentle shaking, overnight. Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:200 Immunofluorescence (IF-IC): 1:100-1:500 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
