Extra Details:: Protein phosphatase 2A subunit B isoform R2-alpha (PPP2R2A) is the component of regulatory subunit B of serine/threonine protein phosphatase 2A (PP2A). PPP2R2A belongs to the R2/B55/PR55 family of regulatory subunit B (1). Evidence suggests that subunit PPP2R2A enhances TGF-beta, Activin, and Nodal signaling pathways (7) and may play an important role in cell cycle regulation (2-4). PPP2R2A/PP2A, B55-alpha/PR55-alpha isoform interacts with the type I TGF-beta receptors via unique WD-40 repeats (5) that contribute to the anti-proliferative function of TGF-beta receptors (6). Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry and ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:500-1:2000, incubate membrane with diluted primary antibody in TBS, 5% milk, 0.1% Tween 20 at 4°C with gentle shaking, overnight. Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:200 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
