Extra Details:: Mcl-1 (Myeloid cell leukemia-1) is Bcl-2-related and was identified as an early-induction gene that increased in expression during the differentiation of human myeloblastic leukemia cell ML-1, or exposure to different DNA damaging agents. The level of Mcl-1 is decreased in peripheral B lymphocytes undergoing apoptosis following treatment with apoptotic stimuli such as TGF-alpha 1 and forskolin Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Immunocytochemistry and ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:10,000 Western Blot: 1:500-1:2000 Immunohistochemistry: 1:200-1:1000 Immunocytochemistry: 1:200-1:1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
