Actin, a ubiquitous eukaryotic protein, is the major component of the cytoskeleton.Actins are highly conserved proteins that are involved in various types of cell motility, structure, and integrity. Actin is ubiquitously expressed in all eukaryotic cells. This actin is a major constituent of the contractile apparatus and one of the two nonmuscle cytoskeletal actins. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Flow Cytometry, Immunocytochemistry and ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:10,000 Western Blot: 1:500-1:2000 Immunocytochemistry: 1:200-1:1000 Flow Cytometry: 1:200-1:400 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
