Extra Details:: Albumin is the most abundant protein in blood plasma. Alterations of level of serum albumin are linked to variety of diseases. Albumin is expressed exclusively by well-differentiated hepatocytes, thus anti-albumin has been used to mark hepatocytes. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunohistochemistry, Immunofluorescence/Immunocytochemistry, Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:5000-1:50,000 Immunohistochemistry: 1:20-1:200 Immunoprecipitation: 1:2000-1:20,000 Immunofluorescence (IC): 1:20-1:200 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
