Extra Details:: Structural component of the T=16 icosahedral capsid. The capsid is composed of pentamers and hexamers of VP5, which are linked together by heterotrimers called triplex. These triplex are formed by a single molecule of VP19C and two copies of VP23 which bridge major capsid protein VP5 multimers together. Triplexes occupy the local threeflod positions between capsid hexamers and pentamers (By similarity). Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
