Extra Details:: ZNF446 contains a KRAB and three C(2)H(2) zinc fingers. ZNF446 is a transcription repressor when fused to GAL4 DNA-binding domain and co-transfected with VP-16. Overexpression of ZNF446 in COS-7 cells inhibits the transcriptional activities of SRE and AP-1, suggesting that the ZNF446 protein may act as a transcriptional repressor in mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) signaling pathway to mediate cellular functions. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
