Extra Details:: Wnt1 is a ligand for members of the frizzled family of seven transmembrane receptors. In some developmental processes, it is also a ligand for the coreceptor RYK, thus triggering Wnt signaling. It is a probable developmental protein and may be a signaling molecule important in CNS development. Wnt1 is likely to signal over only few cell diameters. It ha s a proeminent role in the induction of the mesencephalon and cerebellum. It may play a crucial role in the morphogenesis of the neural tube and/or the early stages of CNS development. It has a role in osteoblast function and bone development. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
