- Extra Details:
- TXNDC2 probably plays a regulatory role in sperm development. It may participate in regulation of fibrous sheath (FS) assembly by supporting the formation of disulfide bonds during sperm tail morphogenesis. It may also be required to rectify incorrect disulfide pairing and generate suitable pairs between the FS constituents. It can reduce disulfide bonds in vitro in the presence of NADP and thioredoxin reductase. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
