Extra Details:
TUT1 is a nucleotidyl transferase that functions as both a terminal uridylyltransferase and a nuclear poly(A) polymerase. TUT1 specifically adds and removes nucleotides from the 3' end of small nuclear RNAs and select mRNAs and may function in controlling gene expression and cell proliferation.TUT1 specifically catalyzes uridylylation of U6 snRNA (RNU6; MIM 180692) and is essential for cell proliferation (Trippe et al., 2006 [PubMed 16790842]).[supplied by OMIM]. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
