- The homeobox gene superfamily is highly conserved during evolution. These members act as transcription factors during several important developmental processes through their 60 amino acid homeodomains that recognize and bind to the regulatory region of their target genes. Tgifx1, the product of a novel testis homeobox gene, may play a crucial role during spermatogenesis. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
