- SNAPc is involved in transcription by two types of polymerases; it is required for transcription of both the RNA polymerase II and III small-nuclear RNA genes and binds specifically to the proximal sequence element PSE, a non-TATA-box basal promoter element common to these two types of genes. In addition, SNAPc is composed of at least three TAFs, SNAP43, SNAP45 and SNAP50. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
