- Extra Details:
- SIN3B acts as a transcriptional repressor. It interacts with MXI1 to repress MYC responsive genes and antagonize MYC oncogenic activities. Also, it interacts with MAD-MAX heterodimers by binding to MAD. The heterodimer then represses transcription by tethering SIN3B to DNA. The gene is also able to form a complex with FOXK1 which represses transcription Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
