- Extra Details:
- RGS7 inhibits signal transduction by increasing the GTPase activity of G protein alpha subunits thereby driving them into their inactive GDP-bound form. Activity on G(o)-alpha is specifically enhanced by the RGS6/GNG5 dimer. RGS7 may play a role in synaptic vesicle exocytosis and may play important role in the rapid regulation of neuronal excitability and the cellular responses to short-lived stimulations. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
