Extra Details:: This gene is a member of the RAB gene family which belongs to the RAS GTPase superfamily. The proteins in the family of RAS-related signaling molecules are small GTP-binding proteins that play important roles in the regulation of exocytotic and endocytotic pathways. This gene maps to the site of an ancestral telomere fusion event and may be a subtelomeric gene. Two alternatively spliced transcript variants have been identified, both encoding the same protein. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
