- PYHIN1 belongs to the HIN-200 family. This protein is major mediator of the tumor suppressor activity of IFN in breast cancer cells. It promotes ubiquitination and subsequent degradation of MDM2, which leads to p53/TP53 stabilization, and HDAC1, which in turn enhances maspin expression, and impairs invasive activity of cancer cells. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
