- POLR1E is a DNA-dependent RNA polymerase catalyzes the transcription of DNA into RNA using the four ribonucleoside triphosphates as substrates.POLR1E is the component of RNA polymerase I which synthesizes ribosomal RNA precursors.POLR1E appears to be involved in the formation of the initiation complex at the promoter by mediating the interaction between Pol I and UBTF/UBF. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
