- PEG3 induces apoptosis in cooperation with SIAH1A and acts as a mediator between TP53/p53 and BAX in a neuronal death pathway that is activated by DNA damage. PEG3 acts synergistically with TRAF2 and inhibits TNF induced apoptosis through activation of NF-kappa-B. PEG3 also possesses a tumor suppressing activity in glioma cells. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
