Extra Details:: PAXIP1 functions as a key component of the DNA damage response, and phosphoserine or phosphothreonine-specific binding modules. PAXIP1 recognizes substrates phosphorylated by the kinases ataxia telangiectasia-mutated (ATM), ataxia telangiectasia and RAD3-related (ATR) in response to gamma irradiation. It may play a role in PAX2-dependent transcriptional regulation. PAXIP1 plays a role in early development, most probably in cell proliferation. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
