Extra Details:: Pa2g4 may play a role in a ERBB3-regulated signal transduction pathway. It seems be involved in growth regulation. It acts a corepressor of the androgen receptor (AR) and is regulated by the ERBB3 ligand neuregulin-1/heregulin (HRG). It inhibits transcription of some E2F1-regulated promoters, probably by recruiting histone acetylase (HAT) activity. It may be involved in ribosome assembly. It mediates cap-independent translation of specific viral IRESs (internal ribosomal entry site). It together with PTBP1 is required for the translation initiation on the foot-and-mouth disease virus (FMDV) IRES. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
