Extra Details:: ME2 is a mitochondrial NAD-dependent malic enzyme, a homotetrameric protein, that catalyzes the oxidative decarboxylation of malate to pyruvate. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
