Extra Details:: LRP8 is an apolipoprotein E receptor, a member of the low density lipoprotein receptor (LDLR) family. Apolipoprotein E is a small lipophilic plasma protein and a component of lipoproteins such as chylomicron remnants, very low density lipoprotein (VLDL), and high density lipoprotein (HDL). The apolipoprotein E receptor is involved in cellular recognition and internalization of these lipoproteins.This gene encodes an apolipoprotein E receptor, a member of the low density lipoprotein receptor (LDLR) family. Apolipoprotein E is a small lipophilic plasma protein and a component of lipoproteins such as chylomicron remnants, very low density lipoprotein (VLDL), and high density lipoprotein (HDL). The apolipoprotein E receptor is involved in cellular recognition and internalization of these lipoproteins. Alternative splicing generates multiple transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms for this gene. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
