- The adult colon epithelium contains 3 differentiated cell types that arise from a multipotent stem cell. Deviation from the normal maturation pathway by neoplastic transformation is thought to initiate in stem cells or their early descendants. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
