- HNRPUL1 is a nuclear RNA-binding protein of the heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein (hnRNP) family. This protein binds specifically to adenovirus E1B-55kD oncoprotein. It may play an important role in nucleocytoplasmic RNA transport, and its function is modulated by E1B-55kD in adenovirus-infected cells.This gene encodes a nuclear RNA-binding protein of the heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein (hnRNP) family. This protein binds specifically to adenovirus E1B-55kD oncoprotein. It may play an important role in nucleocytoplasmic RNA transport, and its function is modulated by E1B-55kD in adenovirus-infected cells. Four transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. Another variant has also been found, but its full-length nature has not been determined. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Immunoprecipitation, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
