- Extra Details:
- HBP1 is a transcriptional repressor that binds to the promoter region of target genes. This protein plays a role in the regulation of the cell cycle and of the Wnt pathway. It binds preferentially to the sequence 5'-TTCATTCATTCA-3'. Binding to the H1F0 promoter, HBP1 is enhanced by interaction with RB1. The protein also can disrupt the interaction between DNA and TCF4. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
