Extra Details:: THEX1 contains 1 SAP domain and 1 exonuclease domain. It is an RNA exonuclease that binds to the 3' end of histone mRNAs and probably degrades them, suggesting that it plays an essential role in histone mRNA decay after replication. It is also able to degrade the 3' overhangs of short interfering RNAs (siRNAs) in vitro, suggesting a possible role as regulator of RNA interference (RNAi). Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
