Extra Details:: CHRD1 regulates centrosome duplication, probably by inhibiting the kinase activity of ROCK2. It is proposed to act as co-chaperone for HSP90. CHRD1 may play a role in the regulation of NOD1 via a HSP90 chaperone complex. In vitro, it has intrinsic chaperone activity. This function may be achieved by inhibiting association of ROCK2 with NPM1. It is involved in stress response. It prevents tumorigenesis. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
