- CHM binds unprenylated Rab proteins, presents it to the catalytic Rab GGTase dimer, and remains bound to it after the geranylgeranyl transfer reaction. The component A is thought to be regenerated by transferring its prenylated Rab back to the donor membrane.The choroideremia gene encodes for a protein, the Rab escort protein-1 (REP1), which is involved in membrane trafficking.[supplied by OMIM]. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
