- Extra Details:
- ARC is required for consolidation of synaptic plasticity as well as formation of long-term memory. It regulates endocytosis of AMPA receptors in response to synaptic activity. It is required for homeostatic synaptic scaling of AMPA receptors. ARC plays a role in the regulation of cell morphology and cytoskeletal organization and is required in the stress fiber dynamics and cell migration. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
