Extra Details:: Tergitol-7 is a surfactant that has been used as a disinfectant and detergent in wastewater treatment. It is also used in the production of monoclonal antibodies and other applications. Tergitol-7 is a mixture of sodium salts with a particle size of 10 microns, which has been shown to be effective against bacterial resistance to antibiotics and antimicrobial agents. This product's antimicrobial activity is due to the presence of fatty acids, which are effective against Gram-positive bacteria such as Lactobacillus acidophilus. Tergitol-7 also contains cationic surfactants and polymerizable groups, which increase its effectiveness in removing organic matter from surfaces.
