- Loss of genetic material at the cytogenetic level and loss of heterozygosity (LOH) are frequently observed in tumors. The 11q22-q24 region has deletions or LOH in a variety of tumor types. Replacement of the missing copy of chromosome 11 in the A549 adenocarcinoma cell line with a normal chromosome 11 reversed tumorigenicity in nude mice, suggesting the existence of a tumor suppressor gene. TSLC1 localized in perinuclear and plasma membranes. The predicted 442aa protein contains a signal peptide and a transmembrane domain. IGSF4 shares 65% identity with neural cell adhesion molecule-1 (NCAM1) and NCAM2 within their Ig-like C2-type domains. Northern blot analysis revealed expression of a 4.4kb transcript in all tissues tested except leukocytes. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:500-1:1000 ELISA: 1:20,000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
