- Extra Details:
- It is expressed at high levels on the surface of circulating monocytes, macrophages but also on bovine polymorphonuclear neutrophil leukocytes (PMN). Additionally, in cattle the soluble form of CD14 can be found present in the serum and milk. CD14 signals through TLR4, MyD88, TIRAP and TRAF6 activating NFkB and eliciting the inflammatory response. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: Neat 1:10 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
