Extra Details:: SFTPD, also known as pulmonary surfactant-associated protein D, is a member of the collectin family of innate immune modulators. It contributes to the lung's defense against inhaled microorganisms, organic antigens and toxins. This protein interacts with compounds such as bacterial lipopolysaccharides, oligosaccharides and fatty acids and modulates leukocyte action in immune response. Recombinant human SFTPD, fused to His-Tag at C-terminal, expressed in insect cell and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques. Recombinant protein corresponding to aa22-375 of human SFTPD, fused to His-Tag at C-terminal, expressed in insect cell. Molecular Weight: ~36.5kD (363aa), ~40-57kD (SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.)
