- Peroxiredoxin 3, also known as PRDX3, is a member of the peroxiredoxin family of antioxidant enzymes, which reduce hydrogen peroxide and alkyl hydroperoxides. Peroxiredoxin 3 is specifically localized in mitochondria and believed to play important roles in the regulation of cellular redox status by serving as a primary line of defense against H2O2 produced during respiration. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: F0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at 4°C. Do not freeze. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
