- Phosphoglycerate kinase 1 (PGK1) is an X-linked enzyme that plays a key role in the glycolytic pathway. The gene encoding the erythrocyte enzyme PGK1 and it seems that PGK-1 acts as a polymerase alpha cofactor protein (primer recognition protein) as a glyxolytic enzyme role. The PGK1 catalyzes the reversible conversion of 1,3-diphosphoglycerate to 3-phosphoglycerate during glycolysis, generating one molecule of ATP. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence, Flow Cytometry, ELISA, Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: F0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
