Extra Details:: CHI3L2, also known as chitinase-3-like protein 2, belongs to chitinase protein family. It is secreted by synovial fibroblasts, chondrocytes, and TGFb/IL4 stimulated monocyte derived macrophages. It has been proposed as a potential biomarker for osteoarthritis. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, ELISA, Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: F0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
