Extra Details:
ALDH2 (Aldehyde dehydrogenase 2 family) belongs to the aldehyde dehydrogenase family which catalyze the chemical transformation from acetaldehyde to acetic acid and is the second enzyme of the major oxidative pathway of alcohol metabolism. There are two major liver isoforms of this enzyme, cytosolic and mitochondrial, and they can be also distinguished by their electrophoretic mobilities, kinetic properties, and subcellular localizations. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence, ELISA, Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: F0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
