- Extra Details:
- Formins, such as FMN1, are actin-nucleating proteins involved in cell polarity, cytokinesis, cell migration, and transcriptional activity. This FMN1 gene belongs to the formin homology family and encodes a protein that has a role in the formation of adherens junction and the polymerization of linear actin cables. The homologous gene in mouse is associated with limb deformity. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been found for this gene. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistohemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 0.1-0.5ug/ml Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 0.5-1ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile dH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
