Methylation of Arg3 is catalyzed by PRMT1 and functions to promote p300 acetylation of histone H4. Molecular Weight: ~2843.4 AA Sequence: G-R(Me1)-GKGGKGLGKGGAKRHRKVLRGG-K(Biotin) Applications: Suitable for use as a substrate for arginine methyltransferases and for screening small molecular inhibitors of Histone 4 (R3) methyltransferases for drug discovery.
