Extra Details:: Nectins are a small family of Ca2+-independent immunoglobulin (Ig)-like cell adhesion molecules (CAMs) that organize intercellular junctions.1 The nectin family has at least four members that are highly homologous to the human receptor for poliovirus. Nectin-2/CD112 is a 60-65kD type I TM glycoprotein that is found on a variety of cell types, 2, 3 and is known to bind the pseudorabies virus, and herpes simplex virus2 (HSV2), but not HSV1 or poliovirus. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunofluorescence: 10ug/ml Western Blot: 10ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
