Extra Details:: TRIM58 is a member of the tripartite motif-containing family of proteins that frequently possess E3 ubiquitin ligase activities (1). TRIM58 is strongly expressed in erythroid lineage cells and is further upregulated during late erythroid maturation. Recent experiments suggest that TRIM58 facilitates erythroblast enucleation by ubiquitinating the intermediate chain of the microtubule motor dynein, thereby inducing proteolytic degradation (2). Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
