Extra Details:: Phosphoinositide-dependent kinase 1 (PDPK1, PDK1) is a serine/threonine protein kinase integral to the function of the PI 3-K/Akt signaling pathway. PDK1 and mTORC2 both phosphorylate and activate PKB/Akt, ensuring a cellular response to stimuli such as growth factors and insulin signaling. Akt is the main effector of PDK1. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 1:200-1:400 ELISA: 1:10,000 Western Blot: 1:500-1:2000 Immunocytochemistry: 1:200-1:1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
